She has a Ph.D. in Creative Writing and American and British Literature from Oklahoma State University. Donna enjoys family vacations, portrait sketching, gardening, and playing classical music on her 1880s piano.

I’m fascinated by its strength, endurance, and deep roots.Trees are prominent in my writing, symbolic of strong characters who believe in the permanence of family. Blessings Farm is located near the beautiful Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas.
