Wild Is the Wind
Wild Is the Wind is the title of my new contemporary romance novel that I’ve just completed. Olivia, my heroine, is disillusioned with love, after her fiancé betrays her with her best friend. So Olivia, pregnant with her ex-fiancé’s child, escapes from the big city to her deceased great-aunt’s old farmhouse in the country. Then Rane, her neighbor and owner of the Rocking B Ranch, blasts into her life like a strong wind….
I’m particularly excited about the setting, since it’s located in Arkansas’ River Valley surrounded by the Ozark Mountains in a place that I love. Inspiration is all around me—the cowboys outside my window rounding up a herd of steers for market, tall trees, their branches blowing softly in the wind, old tin barns and silos, cattle and sheep grazing on acres of green pastures.
